Angel experienceing the ups and downs of a rookie season

Watching the WNBA Tuesday night game between the Minnesota Lynx and the Atlanta Dream, it seemed strange not to see #35 Angel McCoughtry dominating on the court. It's a whole different ballgame at this level, and rookies do learn the hard way...but, let's face it:

The Atlanta Dream needs what she can deliver.

First, a three point marksman is sorely needed by the franchise to prevent teams from pacing back in a zone on them. Angel can hit the three. She got no attempts at it last night. Three p… Continue

"The Rifleman" Zack Stoudt's Greatest Hits 2007

If you are one of those wondering about the QB situation at Louisville after the Tyler Wolfe transfer, wonder no more. I don't think many in our fanbase realize just how good of a QB Stoudt really is, not to mention, it is always nice to have the pedigree of your father Cliff, who had a 14 year Pro career as a QB.

Zack Stoudt is an awesome QB, who kind of fell off everyone's radar in HS… Continue

Seen and heard in New York City

Rather than risk analysts and fans ripping him for his choice to play pro ball in Italy instead of college ball at Arizona, Brandon Jennings made a last-minute decision not to sit in the Green Room at the draft.

Jones' odyssey will end at University of Arizona

Lamont Jones sits on a bench outside the Col. Charles Young playground in Harlem on Sunday night, about a half-hour before his sixth basketball game of the day, and lets out a deep breath.

NBA draft prospect Terrence Williams

I respect that Jay Bilas isn't one of those "Be true to your school'' zealots. So I wasn't surprised Monday when he said he'd pick Louisville's Terrence Williams over Duke's Gerald Henderson.

Direction for Bulls: Forward with picks Johnson, Gibson

The Bulls tested the waters Thursday in efforts to move up in the NBA draft but wound up settling for a double dose of depth at power forward.

Nets like Williams' versatility on court
