The University of Louisville women's basketball team will travel to Tennessee to face the No. 3 Lady Vols on Wednesday, Dec. 16 for the first meeting between the two teams at 7:00 p.m. in Thompson Boling Arena. The game will be televised live on Fox Sports South with Bob Kesling as the play-by-play announcer and Debbie Antonelli will be the color analyst.

The Cardinals had five players score in double figures. They were led by Becky Burke with 19 points and a career-high eight rebounds and lone senior Chauntise Wright, who scored a season-high 18 points and seven rebounds. Gwen Rucker and Nikki Burton finished with 12 points and Laura Terry finished with 11.

The Cardinals were led by Monique Reid who scored a career-high 24 points on the night, while pulling down 10 rebounds for her third double-double of her career, while freshman Ashley Rainey also produced her second double-double of her career with 13 points and 11 rebounds.
