Ryan White DB Commits!!

According to his twitter he committed to Louisville this morning! Ryan is a 5-9/175 DB from Louisville Trinity HS.

This is a huge commitment, not only for the University of Louisville, but for HC Charlie Strong especially due to the flack and criticism he's taken because of local players accusing him of being partial to Florida athletes.  I hope three other Louisville area players follow suit in commiting to the 'Ville, Trinity WR James Quick, Trinity DE Jason Hatcher, and Ballard OL Joey Bloomfield, not only because of the value to the program, but because it would show that Coach Strong "is" committed to recruiting locally as much as he is nationally.

He was a mainstay on that Trinity D..And sends a message to local players that if You are good You will be recruited plain and simple,This Staff doesn't play favoritism..Better player plays.

We (UK) believed that our best chance to get a Trinity player was Ryan White. It wouldn't surprise me if the other Trinity players follow suit and commit to Louisville. They are outstanding players and will be a joy to watch. We might have to get our players from elsewhere like Georgia and other schools in Kentucky.

I hope that Ryan White, James Quick, Jason Hatcher, and Joey Bloomfield come in and show the rest of the knucklehead prima donna athletes around here the blueprint for what Coach Strong expects from a potential recruit who wants to come and play for the University of Louisville.
