Back on April 4th a poster named Harry started a thread titled "April 10th". He proceeded to thump his chest about being "number one"! (BWAHAHAHAHAHA!). Since then his mildkitties have been swept by Louisville, lost a series to below .500 Vandy, on the verge of being swept at home to Florida, (pending today's game at 2 pm), and is currently riding a 4 game losing streak. His vaunted mildkitty offense produced an average of about 2 runs a game in these games. They gave up 22 runs in 2 games to Louisville, being shutout in the first game at home. So I ask you Harry, who is the real #1?
First thing that needs to happen Harry is that link you got to the site that had Ky ranked #1, delete it now! Not one of the credible college baseball sites. That basketball title probably had you dazed and confused so I'm trying to help you out here.
Second thing that needs to happen is stay with a sport you actually have a clue in. At least in basketball the mildkitties can just go out and buy a title, much like the Yankees do in the MBL. Oh, and I would refrain from going to a rival's site and thumping my chest about a sport I didn't have said clue about.
I'm not looking forward to that Vandy game Tuesday after seeing what they did to your vaunted offense, holding you to 6 runs in 3 games. They must have some awesome pitching!
Speaking of pitching I seen where you were scratching your head about putting a freshman on the mound in a rival game...NEWS FLASH! That was a Freshman that was on the mound for Louisville that pitched 6 innings giving up only 3 hits (to your vaunted offense) in the shutout at your place!
In closing I'll wish you good luck in the SEC tourny and hope you can get by that powerhouse Vandy and that stingy Florida pitching. Your going to need it to make it to a regional that your #1 mildkitties (BWAHAHAHAHA!) can get out of to get to a super. Now about that vaunted offense......

UL holds a 4 game win streak vs uk and uk matched that during the Kragchoke years. Coach Strong and the Cards are about to put together a win streak that uk football will NEVER match. Strong is about to put a 'Spurrier' on the pusscats!!

Permalink Reply by harry smith on May 6, 2012 at 5:44pm The two teams(UK and UL) will meet in late May-Early June in the post season will be in Lexington since UK has the higher seed. That will do all the talking for both sides.
By the way UL is in the Lexington bracket for men's tennis next weekend. I doubt UL will get by the first round opponent (Indiana) but if they do it will be a rematch of UK-UL like last Tennis season. we'll advance, the question is soes Louisville have what it takes to face the Big Blue ?
And on September 02 (2853 hours and 45 minutes) the Govenor's Cup will make its trek back to Lexington after UK beats Louisville.
Read 'em and weep.
December 31, 2012 isn't looking too good for you guys either.

Permalink Reply by Terry Jackson on May 7, 2012 at 9:12am Harry, next time wait 3 days after Derby before posting. Mint Julips have a way of messing with your judgement.
Permalink Reply by harry smith on May 11, 2012 at 6:09pm Well we know what the Cards are made of as they folded today against Indiana and foiled the rematch of last year's UK-UL tennis match in the NCAA Tournament. Didn't matter because Kentucky was going to dominate UL or Indiana anyway. Could Coach Dennis Emery win a national title like Calipari and UK have two national champs for 2012 ??
Wii Louisville win even one title this year ?? So sad.
2733 and one half hours until the Govenor's cup comes back to Lexington for a long, long stay.
December 31st isn't looking too good for you guys either.
Permalink Reply by P Streble Sr. on May 11, 2012 at 7:50pm The Louisville Cardinal basketball program led the Nation in average attendance this past season. With the men's team averaging over 21,000 and the lady Cards averaging 10,000 no other team in the country could top the 31,000 the UL basketball programs tallied.
Permalink Reply by Terry Jackson on May 12, 2012 at 10:12am Folded?...Tennis match?...Guess I'll lose a lot of sleep over that one!
Ky won't have to worry about folding a basketball game against IU now. Cal: "Anyone, anytime, anywhere!" (cough cough!) Yeah right!
Permalink Reply by harry smith on May 12, 2012 at 6:04pm Let's talk about Indiana the team that beat you all yesterday 4-2. Well that same team was dominated by UK today 4-0. So, while rivals Indiana and Louisville have their respective seasons ended in team competition UK advances to the sweet sixteen much like the basketball counterparts. we'll probably face Stanford, then Virginia and Georgia. Have fun in the off season while the Wildcats keep on winning.
Permalink Reply by P Streble Sr. on May 13, 2012 at 7:16am Lets talk about the UL baseball team that scalded 'you all' a few days ago. LOL
Permalink Reply by Terry Jackson on May 13, 2012 at 10:56am Keep on playing Tennis while we are out recruiting football players we can win championships with.
Permalink Reply by Shannon Ruffra on May 14, 2012 at 12:40pm Let's see: 2012: 2 games, UK scores 2 runs, UofL scores 22 runs in the two game contest, shutting-out UK at home at Cliff Hagan 12-0....
Is this really even a debate?
