Louisville has landed a commitment from OT Skylar Lacy of Center Grove HS in Indiana. Lacy committed while on campus today according to Steve Wiltfong. He is UL's 8th commit in the 2013 class.

Rumors are flying around that Louisville may be eyeing an addition to their 2012 class. The name that must be watched over the next few weeks is that of Montrezl Harrell, the Virginia Tech signee is reportedly looking to get out of his NLI. Expect Louisvilled to try and entice him to join their 2012 class as Coach Keatts has ties to Harrell from when he coached him at Hargrave Academy. The Cardinals avenged their 2009 Elite loss to Michigan State with a 57-44 win. The game was never close in the second half. Except for a brief Sparty run which was followed by a bigger UL run to put them up 11. Gorgui had the defensive performance of the night with 7 blocks, 3 steals, 9 rebounds and 5 points all while playing the entire 40 minutes of the game. This is the exact question that is on all Cards fans minds. The 2009 rendition of the Cards was arguably the best of the Pitino era and probably easily the most talented (2 McDonald's All-Americans and the freak that was T-Will.) And I still believe we would have ran away with a National Championship if Louisville's 2006 class had stayed together. We're looking at you Derrick Caracter.

Anton Gill of Ravenscroft School in Raleigh, NC has committed to the University of Louisville he is the first commitment for the Cards. Gill is an excellent fit at the SG position and will help with the recruitment of Greg McClinton and Raekwon Harney both of whom are from North Carolina as well.
