- 2007 Game 2 Oklahoma State vs. Louisville in the Super Regionals at Jim Patterson Stadium. We actually lost the game, but we got to talk to almost our entire basketball team that was just hanging around the gates of JPS just chillin' and showing prospect Angel Garcia around. Edgar Sosa took some pics for us. It was a great experience, and Louisville's 1st ever Super Regional in baseball.
We won the series and advanced to the College World Series in Omaha for the first time in school history, under first year coach Dan McDonnell.

Lifelong Cardinal Fan Mick Hillerich Passed Away Yesterday at 72 - Rest In Peace
(CD Member Tricky Nik) Nikki's father, John Micheal "Mick" Hillerich passed away at his home yesterday, in the company of his wife, Arlene Hillerich, and daughter Michelle Thomasson, at the age of 72. His interests were Cardinal Athletics, golf, and horse racing.

Sophomore Monique Reid scored 17 points in the second half to lead Louisville to an 81-53 win over Northern Iowa in the first round of the Cancun Thanksgiving Classic on Friday evening.
