The Card staff has extended offers to these two WRs recently. Corey Cooper was just at Louisville over the weekend and Marquez Valdes will be checking out The Ville as well.
Larry Bluestein of The Miami Herald just finished seeing Valdes over the weekend, and this is what he had to say: "I saw him for the first time in Tampa this weekend and he looked good. Looks like a solid player at the next level."
Marquez Valdes is out of Lakewood HS in St.Petersburg, Florida and has over a dozen offers; Cooper is out of Raleigh, N.C.'s Milbrook HS and is being recruited by UM, South Carolina and N.C.State. Great offers from quality programs on both these great receivers.
Here is a GREAT article from ESPN on Cooper:

There is a great video on ESPN if you click his name link, and you can see him using speed, hands and feet at 6-2. He reminds me of of slim DeVante Parker. 6-2 is a great size to go over prototypical 5-10 corners to make the snag.
Going after two receivers late in the game.... Interesting move, and we were just having a discussion YESTERDAY in our chat about the Louisville receiver position is loaded with talent, yet maybe a taste thin when you take into consideration the personnel to run three wide-out formations and factor in special teams returns.
Charles Gaines moving back to WR, is a good move considering our needs and his talent at WR as well as CB.
Teddy has all kinds of QUALITY artillery to target this season! Sure-handed Scott Radcliff, the DeVante Parker - Eli Rogers 1-2 punch, #7 Damien Copeland is BACK, bruiser SR Andrell Smith should have a good season, Kai Dominguez, Jarrett Davis and Stephan Robinson should be good rotations, Chuck Gaines is back at WR...
And you heard this from me... I expect Seneca's Aaron Nance at 6-3 220 to have a BIG year in receptions and YACs (yards after catch; bruiser).
