Sugar Bowl MVP Teddy Bridgewater SHREDDED The Daunted UF Gator Defense on a brilliant performance and Terrell Floyd set the tone for the night returning an int for a td on the game's first play and Louisville never looked back from that point on as it was quickly 24-3 And The Rout Was On!!!
Calvin Pryor had told His teammate's during the week " Louisville was going to shock the World " in beating UF.
This was a quote from Coach Strong after the game " We made the plays when We had to and these Kids played their hearts out " They practiced very hard these last 4 weeks and stayed focus and executed the game plan We gave them "
UF Coach Muschamp was quoted after the game " We got out coached and out played tonight is what I told the Team "
Quickly after the game Shariff Floyd and and Matt Elam announced they were by-passing their final year and turning Pro.
Give credit to Coach Watson's game plan and Coach Bedford as it was brilliantly executed by the players.

Comment by P Streble Sr. on January 3, 2013 at 8:37am When the Cards got up 30-10, it caused the Gators to abondon what they have done all year and that is run the ball 70% of the time. The Cards were stopping Florida's run game anyway in the first half. Florida was completely out of their element trying to pass the ball. Seemed like the Gator O line is not prepared to pass block. Cards could have scored 40. Way to go Cards!!
Comment by dimori on January 3, 2013 at 1:18pm The Staff's Game Plan on Defense was to bring in the 8th man into the box and make UF pass on 3rd and long.Driskel could not hit the broad side of a Barn..He was never a THROWER COMING OUT OF HS.VERY ERRATIC
Excellent game plan and preparation by the coaches and kudos to the kids that went out, stayed focused and executed the plan to near perfection! Go Cards :-)
