LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Star Louisville Trinity HS 2014 class QB/ATH Reggie Bonnafon has committed to the Cards!
Comment by P Streble Sr. on January 7, 2013 at 6:18am Welcome aboard Reggie. The gifted athlete from Trinity was primarily a WR for the Shamrocks this past season but played a small bit of QB. Even still, he is rated as one of the top 16 QB's in the nation. Bonnafon will have the starting QB job this coming season, his senior campaign. Very important for the Cards to have a solid pipeline connection in recruiting with Louisville Trinity.
Comment by dimori on January 7, 2013 at 9:21am Trinity is One of the Best HS Football Programs in the State of Kentucky and Bonnafon is a very good athlete.
I'm so glad that Coach Strong is finally making his mark in Louisville from a recruiting standpoint after his reputation took a hit around town with both the DeMarcus Smith and Anthony "Ace" Wales fiascos. Bottom line is that these are the kind of kids that he's looking to recruit for our program, not just necessarily the Catholic school kids, but just good kids that are willing to work for what they earn and not assuming everything should be handed to them or feeling a sense of entitlement just because they show up. If he can find those kids at home, great, but then again if he has to go elsewhere to find a good athlete and a good kid, then so be it. Bottom line is that Coach Strong knows the kind of kids he wants in his program and he's willing to look anywhere to get them as he continually strives to achieve perfection. Welcome aboard Reggie, James, and pssst, try to talk some sense into Jason Hatcher. GO CARDS!!!!!
