Tarean Folston and A.J. Lane Are Two RBs On Coach Hurtt's Radar For The 2013 Class!

With the 2012 Class just about done, we at CD will start posting a list of players from Florida the Cardinal staff has on their radar.

A.J.Lane RB 5-9/206 from Winter Haven: He has outstanding speed that can score from anywhere on the field.

Tarean Floston RB 5-10/190 from Cocoa: Tarean has been a starter here since his sophomore year and has over 30 TDs already.

Quinton Powell OLB 6-2/220 from Daytona Beach Mainland: Powell is probably the best OLB in the State

Devin Washington DE 6-2/220 from Orlando River: You can probably say he is right up there with Powell.

Jordan Sherit DE 6-3/235 rom Tampa Hillsborough:  He gets off real fast and makes plays all over the DL.

Stay tuned to CD as we bring you the latest from Florida on Card recruits for the 2013 Class.

We haven't scored BIG in the Orlando area yet, how strong is Charlie...besides

his name?

This staff is extremely serious when it comes to recruiting.  They're smart enough to realize that you always have to be one step ahead in the game or else you'll fall behind.  It's a nice head start to the 2013 recruiting season, which I can already see is gonna be a big success.

I'm sure Coach Strong tries his best to recruit all of the state of Florida, but as you've seen his biggest recruiting success so far has been in South Florida.   If you remember when Bobby Petrino was coaching here he was really successful in recruiting the northern part of Florida, reaching cities like Tallahassee, Jacksonville, Pensacola, and Orlando, as was John L. Smith.  But just give Coach Strong some time.  I predict that eventually he will own the state of Florida from a recruiting standpoint.  He'll have Jimbo Fisher, Will Muschamp, and Al Golden begging for mercy by the time he's done.

Yep, agreed.  I think he does well throughout Florida amd the Orlando

Sentinel really pushes UCF and the Florida schools so maybe I bit

their poisoned apple.

South Florida has been The Staff's Main Area in recruiting and will keep being that since CCS,HURTT,DOUGANS,CARTER Have these Locker Rooms Doors Open.

Good news ther, it's jsut that early prognostications for 2013 point to Orlando area.

In the past month I have heard that Jeff Brohm was joining the staff at UAB -can help but wonder how he would fit with this staff. Add another hard working recruiter with great knowledge of the game. Not to mention the strong connections to Trinity (Class of 2013 and beyond). Coaching QB at the Ville!!!! Feels like somethings missing at the Ville and it just might be a Brohm.

We "NEED" the Brohm family back into the Louisville program period.  That was a real shame the way they were alienated by Kragthorpe and his staff (all the more reason why I'm glad he's gone).  Getting Brohm on the coaching staff would create a pipeline between UofL football and Trinity High School that would be extremely beneficial to us, because like Louisville Central, there's also been a pipeline between Trinity High School and UK that I would also like to see come to an end.
